McArdle ECS considers the health and safety of the public and all
company employees to be of primary importance during the period of
our operations on site. The responsibility for ensuring that work
is carried out under safe conditions rests with all employees.
A Health and Safety Policy document is issued to all employees,
and is supplemented by the issue of site specific method statements
and risk assessments. Regular tool box talks are given on site.
Rigid safety systems are in place based on our experience of handling
hazardous and special waste material to protect both the public
and site users.
McArdle ECS have acted as Principal Contractor under CDM Regulations,
and are therefore able to fulfil this role when required by a client.
Regular site audits are carried out by the McArdle Group Safety
Officer, and the results provided to the client. A safety file is
maintained on site, and a copy provided to the client on completion
of a project.
Individual training programmes are identified for operatives and staff,
in addition to training in respect of CITB requirements and CSCS safety
schemes, so that we in turn can provide the best service to our clients. |
