Remediation Techniques
There are a broad range of solutions on offer to assist the regeneration of brownfield land, or to resolve the management of environmental liabilities associated with contaminated land.

It is possible that the remediation solution needs to consider contamination not only to soil but also to groundwater, and therefore a combination of techniques will be used. Different types of contamination in soils may also lead to more than one technique being used on the site.

Many of the techniques for treating contaminated soil normally require civil engineering works involving excavation, transportation and deposition of the material.

McArdle ECS have many years of experience in handling contaminated soil, and dealing with the many environmental and health and safety issues that arise from handling hazardous materials. With McArdle ECS having access to established treatment methods, we are able to use our experience to provide our clients with the ability to manage all aspects of the remediation project.
